Experimenting with poster.

One of the key parts of my film I did not convey in my original poster design was the fog, I have done some experimenting to see if I could create artificial fog. The final piece is okay for a first attempt at complicated photo manipulation, the mist itself does not look realistic but the audience would understand what it is supposed to be. The fog also manages to blend the natural background whilst keeping the distinctive shape of the cooling towers, furthering the point of the film.


I made this using the cloud mask and paint tool, the cloud mask making the bulk of the fog and the paint tool was used to add the fine details, like the fog curving around the centre tree and rising above the towers.
